Asia and Pacific Regional Meeting for Gender Focal Ponts in Siem Reap, Cambodia 22-25 February 2010
Participants will be able to share innovations, ideas, information with your colleagues regarding a project you have successfully developed or one you would like to implement that is gender sensitive and focus on improving the livelihoods of IFAD’s target groups.
Training-cum-orientation workshop on 'Systematisation Technique for Capturing Project Experiences in IFAD China Country Program'
A training-cum-orientation workshop on the systematisation method was organised for knowledge facilitators from all the ongoing projects in China fom 21 to 26 August 2009 in Wuzhong City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China. The main focus of the workshop was: 1) an exposure to and hands-on practice of the systemization method – the process and the use of some tools; 2) training on information organization and writing skills. IFAD Asia and the Pacific Division Annual Performance Review Workshop, March 2009, Bangkok, Thailand
The Annual Performance Review (APR) Workshop of IFAD will be held from the evening of Sunday, 1 March 2009 to Wednesday 4 March 2009 at Amari Watergate Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. The overall goal of this event is to enhance the implementation and impact of IFAD-assisted development interventions on rural poverty reduction throughout the region.

Knowledge Management Training Workshop in Bangkok, 11-14 November 2008
The workshop was meant to be a place where national focal points would get an idea of how they could improve their KM practices and what support they can provide to IFAD funded projects in developing their own KM capacities (to ultimately improve effectiveness of IFAD’s operations). The report outlines the following aspects of the ENRAP KS Training Workshop: Training Needs Assessment; Changing Course; Key Learnings; Actions; Agreements; Recommendations for Next Time.
ICTs for Livelihoods Workshop
This face-to-face meeting will allow selected researchers and practitioners engaged in ICT and Rural Livelihoods in the Asia Pacific region to agree on a series of activities leading to forming of a new research network (or formation of a focused sub- network, within an existing network) to advance knowledge and capacity building on the subject. Specifically, and for the short term, the meeting will result in determining the best possible approach to (a) undertaking a series of evaluations on selected projects; and (b) designing and implementing selected action research pilot projects.
ENRAP National Consultation Workshop, Bangladesh, 13th January 2008
The ENRAP launch event in Bangladesh was held on 13th January 2008 to introduce members of the Bangladesh IFAD community to ENRAP and the potential of ICTs for Knowledge Management and Networking and to build capacities relevant to the Rural Poverty Portal and the IFAD Bangladesh Newsletter among others.
Experience Sharing Trip of Chinese IFAD team to Sri Lanka & India
The delegation visited Sri Lanka from 10-13th May and India from 14-20th May 2006. The overall objective of this study tour was that the Chinese IFAD projects exchange and share knowledge with India and Sri Lanka colleague, and learn how ENRAP was helping IFAD projects.
ENRAP-II Experience Sharing Workshop Philippines
The objective of this meeting is for IFAD projects in Philippines to share experiences and knowledge on thematic issues including Indigenous Peoples Community Mobilization; Micro-credit Strategies of Implementation; Natural Resource Management Practices and Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation. It is also an opportunity for IFAD projects to discuss how ENRAP can support projects in the future.
ENRAP National Meeting: India & Sri Lanka,16-17 May 2005, Pondicherry, India
The objective of this meeting is for IFAD projects to share experiences and Knowledge on thematic issues such as Micro-Finance, Natural Resource Management and Digital Video Documentation. They will also have an opportunity to visit MSSRF's Village Knowledge Centres in Pondicherry and discuss how they can access ENRAP support for their future activities.
ENRAP II Nepal National Workshop, Nepalgunj, 15-16 March, 2004
Over the two-day workshop we plan to talk about how ENRAP could support projects in accessing, documenting and sharing information; and also in improving project efficiency through improved communication. Projects will have the opportunity to refine the plan of activities prepared at the Start-up workshop in February 2003 to seek ENRAP support over the remaining life of ENRAP (up till 2005) and plan execution of activities already suggested. Hopefully they will leave with a commitment to share information and knowledge with each other.
ENRAP II Philippines National Workshop
All IFAD projects in Philippines met in Manila to talk about ENRAP activities in the country. There are three projects currently operating, though CHARM is soon coming to an end.
ENRAP II Pakistan National Workshop
All IFAD projects in Pakistan are scheduled to meet in Islamabad to talk about ENRAP activities in Pakistan. Three project staff from each of the six operating projects will be participating. IFAD and ICIMOD will be represented too.
ENRAP II China National Workshop, Guilin, 15 November, 2003
All IFAD projects in China met in the beautiful city of Southern China, Guilin, to talk about ENRAP activities in Pakistan. All projects participated along with Dr.Cai Mantang, Renald Lafond and Shalini Kala representing ENRAP.
ENRAP II India National Workshop, 15 October, Manesar, Gurgaon, India
On 15 October all IFAD projects in India met near Delhi at a place called Manesar to talk about ENRAP activities in India. Projects from the north-eastern, eastern and western part of India participated. While there are obvious differences in the terrain, climate and in a way culture of these regions we saw a great deal of similarity in the challenges that the communities and the projects face. This meant opportunities for sharing experiences and learning from each other.
ENRAP II Planning Workshop
The ENRAP project document gives some rather broad objectives and methodology and these must be translated into a more detailed work plan and budget before its implementation. This workshop will review this document with the project partners/representatives to plan in detail activities and outputs.
